| DURAFLEX EOOD has been a manufacturer of TPU products since 1998. Prior to the period above, the company provided automobile services – specializing in repairs of steering and running gear. In the course of work, we have repeatedly found that the parts used in those delicate automobile systems, which are directly related to safety, are the most vulnerable in case of broken protection. In other words, any CV axle, ball joint or tie rod end with a torn boot quickly becomes defective and represents a danger to human life. Is there a stronger reason to protect those parts in a more reliable way?!
During the period from 1997 to 1998, many experiments, tests and chemical analyses were carried out to select the best elastomer – the most appropriate one for the purpose of such production. After 1998, DURAFLEX EOOD has singled out thermoplastic polyurethane for manufacturing its products and Elastogran GmbH, the biggest TPU manufacturer in the world (for further information, please go to http://www.elastogran.de/ ), as the supplier of material. In 2000, Turkish manufacturers of automobile parts were interested in ball joint covers and tie rod boots. DURAFLEX EOOD became a subcontractor to one of the most reputable plants in Turkey – Yeni AS METAL. In 2000 - 2002, new models of CV joint boots were introduced into production to satisfy the increased demand on the Bulgarian market. In 2003, companies from the USA, Russia, Italy and Macedonia became interested in boots made of TPU. DURAFLEX EOOD is ready, if necessary, to meet greater productive capacity or nomenclature. |
